Using SugarCE Version 5.5.1 (Build 1202)

When sending an email via the email client the formatting of the body of the email whch contains a + as in a telephone number eg +44 (0)20 7XXX YYYY the + remains intact when received.

When creating a campaign email, the template will save the + but once it is sent through the mail merge system, the recipient cannot see the +

Tested in multiple browsers'/email clients, viewed source etc. Other special characters such as & are processed correctly.

Any clues as to why this might be or fix proposals?

Other Observations:

TinyMCE preview button does not work, nor does toggle invisible elements

Default table settings give very little controls eg borders for rows.

Cannot get rid of a 2px white padding on the cells even when padding and spacing set to 0

Wish List:
TinyMCE - latest version in both email template editor for campaigns and the Sugar email client.
Ability to control the TincyMCE client in the same way that WordPress plugins can to add/remove function buttons
