Is possible to restrict acces to contacts?

Hello, I´m new in the forum and in SugarCRM.

I´d like to know if it´s possible to restrict acces to contacts in the way that only de user who created the contact has access to it. And, of course, the admin users will have acces to all contacts.

Is it possible? How could I activate it?

You can figure it out through Roles. Actually you can restrict access to Contacts, or any other module, to owner.

Can be done with a few clicks. It's in the manual..

In short:
- Create a Role that has "Owner" permission to Contacts
- Assign everybody to that role
- Admin account is not part of this system and always has all permissions
