Exclamation Prevent users from reading/receiveing emails - ONLY send out

    Hi everyone!

I would like to prevent users (sales reps) from receiving/downloading/reading incoming emails in sugar, our users/sales reps should only be allowed to send out emails.

So in short - sales reps can only send out emails - not read them.

Is this possible and how can this be configured/done?

Only our CEO and maybe our sales manager should be able to read in coming mails.

Also is it possible to re-route emails to a certain account (Our CEO's account) and how is this done properly?

We are using Sugar Pro version: Version 5.2.0k (Build 5837)

Thanks in advance for you help!

    Kind regards

Everything you ask is possible, and none of it should be implemented in SugarCRM. Do this on the email server itself.
    Developers go here
    Businesses go there (Dutch)

    Modules:
SugarDev.net Developer Tools | Config | Dutch Language Pack

We would if it was possible - but we do not run our own email server for the moment - we just lease the email addresses from a web host as it is right now. So that is not a possible scenario.

I have tried to convince our CEO that we should run our own email server, but for the moment he's not open to that option.

But thanks anyway for the reply!

    Any other suggestions?

I forgot to mention that - we are using 1 email address to all sales reps, and only out CEO has access to read incoming emails. Sales reps can only send out.
