    Default Print to PDF Button

    Hello,
Some of our users have the "print to pdf" button available in their reports module, and some do now. The only way i know to make it appear is to make users admin, however dont want to do this.

Is there ia setting in roles or teams that determines who has access to the "Print to PDF" button.

    Thank you

    Hello drobi,

What version of Sugar are you using? Do you have any roles set up in the system? If you do, check to see if there are any restrictions set on the Reports module for Export and see which users are assigned to this role.

    Hello

Im running Pro 5.0i. I checked the roles and i did have restrictions on the export function.

Its kind of a catch 22, i dont want users to be able to export our records from reporting to a .csv file, which enabeling exporting will allow, however i do want them to be able to print to PDF (only).

I dont see a way around this?

    Hello,

Try this: remove the Report Export restriction from the report in the Role you have set up (set Export = Not Set). Then go to Admin-->System Settings, and scroll down to the Export section. There is a checkbox called 'Admin Export Only'. Check off this checkbox and save.

A non admin user should now be able to log into the system and be able to print reports to pdf, yet not be able to export any data into csv from any module.
