Hello,
Ever since we got on Sugar version 6.1.2 (first time use on june 7th) we've had this annoying bug with reports and printing.
The situation is this.
When using a report with and interactive filter. First time the report is launched and we hit print, everything is fine, it prints withing the required filters.
The problem is when applying new filters and clicking print, then what it prints is everything without any filter.
For example (thoerical)
So let's says we have 100 opportunities in our database and 4 sale stages (divided evenly). When running the report with it's saved filters on sale stage #1 it will print the list of all 25 stage #1 opportunities. When applying filter on sale stage #2 and printing, it will print all 100 opportunities.
You can imagine the waste of time and paper when opportunities count is above 500 or lead/contact/account is well over 2K
So to bypass this problem we need to make a report for each possible situation, and it's really starting, to put it bluntly, to get on my nerves. We have 7 sale stages, so 7 reports there, we have customers / leads with different type of process (6 diff proceses) so 12 reports there and so on....
The problem is persistent and present under Firefox (which is the one we use), under the Internet Explorer platform, the problem is still there but under a different aspect. First time it prints fine, reapply new filters, and nothing happens when clicking print. So basicaly we need a fix on that.
That problem was present during our try-out of Sugar in may and reported the bug then, since then no news from Sugar at all on the bug, even after multiple reminder to them or our intergrator. the problem is present on any stations we have.
Anyone else had this problem ? Anyone have any suggestions ?
Thank you
Have a nice day
