Hi.

i have a problem after a backup and reinstall of a SugarCRM (version 5.0.0f). The installation is on production with windows 2000 server and MySQL and the customer is very satisfied. I have done in the mainwhile a few personalization adding some fields and renaming some labels (always using the Studio configuration) and installing the italian translation module.

Due to a server problem i have backup both the DB and the application (this last using the Studio function that create a zip file with all the application).

After a successfull server reinstall, i have reinstalled SugarCRM from scratch and i restore the DB data also.

Always seems to work well. At this point i look in the application backup zip and just "replace" all the files under "sugarcrm" directory with those present in the zip file.

After this operation all the personalization were in place successfully, everything seems to work well.

Now the problem. The customer ask for a further field in "Accounts".
I went into Studio/Module/Contacts/Layout/Fields and add the required field to the module.
Now i want to show the field in the DetailView and in the ModifyView.
I enter Studio/Module/Contacts/Layout/EditView and nothing is showed in the "Edit Layout" panel. Only a Java error message on the status bar: "error on page" clicking on it a missing ")" error is displayed. This means nothing to me.

Is there a way to understand where is the problem really ? In which way i may return to a functional Studio ?
