problem with date

I'm trying to create a task beginning on february 17 - 8am, ending on the same day - 7pm but my sugarcrm doesnt accept it since it says 8am is not before 7pm
so i tried to input the initial date on february 10, ending the 17th... same problem

what could it be?

Perhaps it is a bug, but a workaround is to modify your settings for time, setup 24 hours instead.

Which version are you using?

I can create a task without big deal with 24 hours and AM/PM as well.
My Sugar is 6.0.2

I believe you are doing something wrong, because I´m able to accomplish that on 6.1.1

Are you able to reproduce this same issue in a fresh installation with demo data? WIth no further customization? Under the default language pack?

Yes, actually it IS a fresh installation with demo data that I installed 2 days ago on our server hosted by our Internet provider.

I don´t know if it is a date format issue.
Try to update your date formatting to "MM/DD/YYYY" and try again.
