Problem with date format

Hi all!
First of all forgive my bad english.
I'm using SugarCRM 4.5.1c and I'm having some problem with date format. I'm using dd/mm/yyyy format and when I create a meeting dat is shown correctly but when I save it's not saved properly.
Example: meeting at 11th May 2007 (11/05/2007 in my local format) is saved as 05/11/2007 that is 5th November! And of course it is shown in the 5th november in the Calendar. I've tried to change the date format but the issue remains.

Anyone knows how to solve this?

My configuration:
- Windows 2000 Server
- IIS5
- PHP 5.1.4
- SQL Server 2005 Express

Did you set the proper date format for the system or the user?
I know system has a default but user can over-ride system.

The date is set correctly in the user settings, we use dd/mm/yyyy date format. I really don't understand where the problem is...I tried to execute a manual insert in sql server in a datetime field and the value is stored correctly (dd/mm/yyyy) but if I save a meeting or a call in Sugar the value changes. I think it's something related to a wrong way to write the value on the database field but I'm not a php programmer and I don't know there i can see.
