I have set the default date format for UK style dates, however every new User I create gets the American style date format unless they go into their own settings and change it there.

That's the way it works ... users have to set their own date format ...

ah, OK, thanks for the fast reply, I was just a bit confused due to the option in the 'System Settings' section. What is it used for then? And is there any way to set it so the default for all users is the UK format?

I just changed 'datef' from 'm/d/Y' --> 'd/m/Y'
