Problem e-mailing attachments after upgrade to 4.5.0b

I just upgraded yesterday to Version 4.5.0b (Build 1144), and now e-mailing attachments won't work. The e-mail goes out, but without attachments. Also, when I look in the Sent Emails, the e-mails appear with a link to the attached documents. But if I click on the link, then I get an error ("Invalid File Reference").

The sugarcrm.log contains the following type of entries:

Wed Sep 20 15:51:28 2006,728 [3741] FATAL SugarCRM - SugarPHPMailer encountered an error: Could not access file: /var/www/html/SugarSuite/cache/upload/cfb68220-8c0a-1f00-79b2-4491caa1cb56Brochure.pdf

I looked in the /cache/upload directory and found the file, albeit with the original filename truncated. The file name in /cache/upload is:

cfb68220-8c0a-1f00-79b2-4491caa1cb56

Anybody know what is going on or how to fix it? Attachments were working fine before I upgraded to 4.5.0b. Plus, when I try to access through the Documents panel, the links/file all work properly.

Another thing - anybody know how to clean up the /cache/upload directory? There are files in there from deleted e-mails, which I of course would like to get rid of.

A fix is planned for 4.5.0c which is scheduled (hopefully) in the next few days

Thanks for the info. I think I will wait for the 4.5.0c package. I was about to edit the Email.php file, but then got to thinking about other dependencies (like Notes links, etc) and then figured I would just wait. I am still in a testing mode with Sugar, so I can hold off e-mailing from with Sugar until the issue is fixed.

Great to hear, hopefully they have also fixed the problem with special characters in the file name, whcih weren't being displayed correctly when the Email was sent.
