Hi, I am new to Sugar CRM. I succesfully installed Sugar Community Edition Linux Fast Stack 6.3.1 in my local network, and I am trying to make email work. I want to be able to send and receive (and sync, I guess) emails from my GoDaddy email box with my domain name.
When I go to Admin -> Email -> Email settings , I can send the Test Email with no problem at all from the "Outgoing Mail Configuration" section, using my GoDaddy email server (smtpout.secureserver.net). The problem is when I try to send Test Email from my account, clicking on My_Name at the upper right corner (I am the administrator too) -> Email Settings -> Send Test Email. I don't understand why I do not get the test email from this section since "Email Client:" (Sugar Email Client), "Email Provider", "SMTP Username:" and "SMTP Password:" are all set like the Admin -> Email -> Email settings.
I read that I need to check the sugarcrm.log file in the root of my Sugar installation. My install_summary.txt says "Installation directory: /opt/sugarcrm-6.3.1/", but I don't see sugarcrm.log in that folder. I thought it was the "root of my Sugar installation".
Any help or hint will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
