Default problem importing date-times with 5.0.0e

Running Version 5.0.0e (Build 3276) of Community Edition on Windows Server 2003

Importing data for history that I've extracted from Goldmine, I've run into a problem with datetime fields. I've attached a report of what the data looked like at each stage of my exporting from Goldmine, processing with Excel macros to adjust for GMT, importing into the "calls" table, and exporting again. What I see in the table is not what I see displayed in the Activity record on my SugarCRM screen.

    Can anyone help?

Unlike GoldMine, Sugar will only show you the value of the minutes field if it matches a value from the drop down.

Thus, unless you add "53" to the minutes drop down, it won't show up.

Personally, I find this very restrictive and dislike it, but it is what it is.

Thank you SO much for that info. That saves me a lot of agony searching for an explanation. You truly are an angel.

UPDATE - I found the dropdown for ELAPSED time and added all the minute values.

However, it looks like the time part of the Start Date and Time is hard coded. I found some code that carefully turns minutes into one of the four allowed values. I wonder what would happen if I commented that out - BUT it apparently occurs in several modules (Calls, Meetings, etc.).

    Any ideas anyone?
