Problem inserting hyperlinks with query strings in email template

We are experiencing a very strange issue when editing an email template in Sugar CRM

When attempting to insert a hyperlink with a query string into an email template, the system truncates the domain of the link when it is saved. This breaks the link and makes it unusable.

Specifically, I attempt to insert this link:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?s...fVrTdAzg_3d_3d

When saving the email template, the link is truncated to:
http://www.surveym.com/s.aspx?sm=IOz...fVrTdAzg_3d_3d
The "onkey" part of the domain is removed by the system.

Based on my tests, the system will truncate the domain if a query string is added (specifically, if anything is added beyond the equals sign the link breaks)

What's odd is that if you use an Email Template in a campaign, and add a Tracking URL and an Unsubscribe URL, then the query string is preserved.

If you're using the email template in a campaign, then just create a new TRACKER with the URL you need and then add the {trackername} code to your email where you want the link to appear. Or use the {trackername} as your 'href' (i.e. <a href="{trackername}">Take Survey Now</a>).

I tried it on one of my test campaigns and it works with your URL. In addition, you'll get to track click-throughs on the link.
