    Default Problem moving site from IIS to apache, footer missing. Possible permissions problem?

    UPDATE: Ok, so after some checking, I view the page source on the pages that aren't showing the leads/accounts.

    The HTML stops here:

    </script>
    <td style="padding-right: 10px; padding-left: 8px; vertical-align: top; width: 100%;">

    <!-- crmprint -->

    Any ideas? Is there a .SH file I can use to automatically assign permissions to the appropriate directories?

    ORIGINAL COMPLAINT (FOR SEARCH PURPOSES ONLY)
    I initially used the Windows WAMP installer and things wokred perfectly. Then I needed to change hosts to an apache machine.

    I took a backup of the files and the phpmyadmin data export from the IIS box and copied to the new box, executing the SQL scipt.
    I can log into Sugar just fine with my usernames/passwords. BUT, THERE ARE NO RECORDS! click on contacts nothing appears, even thoguh the database records are there.

    Here's the thing. ALL the usernames and contacts and leads and everything are in the new database when I view through phpmyadmin. SO, I know the data is there, it's just not showing up.

    I don't want to reenter these 400 records, but it seems like the data is in the system, just not displaying.

    I followed this TO THE LETTER. http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...ver_to_another

    Please help me, if you have any idea, I would greatly appreciate some feedback/help!

    Nick

    Ok, found the solution:

    Permissions issues.

    When I copied, there were a few things that weren't quite right, not sure if they affect anything now, but my data is back...

    First, the CACHE, CUSTOM, DATA, and MODULES directories need to be CHMOD 777

    (I used putty.exe to go to my godaddy virtual web server, logged on and SU to root, then go to the var/www/vhosts/<sitename> directory. Then, go into each directory that needs permissions set and CHMOD -R 777 *)

    Then CHMOD 777 the config.php file

    Then, check for an .HTACCESS file and make sure the URL is still valid. Not sure if my .HTACCESS file is needed anymore, but who cares, my data is back.

    My final step was physically walking away from the computer, opening a bottle of Captain Morgan, and enjoying the rest of my evening, with no PC's around at all.

    Best of luck!
