Problem Saving

I have created a system in cases with an additional 30 custom fields. Up until a couple of weeks the data entry process has been smooth, all fields when entered were saved first time. However we now have a situation where when all data is entered and I hit save only a couple of fields are actually saved. I then have to edit the case and reinput the data and it is at this point that all data is saved properly.

Has anyone any ideas on this, its a real puzzler

Take a look at the debug log to see if it includes any errors. You can enable it via Admin > System Settings.

Also, are all the fields that are failing of the same type? i.e. Drop downs?
