Problem with sendmail and inbound mailboxes config

Hi,

I am having 2 distinct problems:

1) Cannot send e-mail : the e-mail is created, associated with cases and all but in the end it's not sent. Already tryed send e-mail using sendmail from my system and it gets sent/received. I can't seem to know what is happening wrong here.

2) Try to test the inbound mailbox settings and always get an error of permission denied. Once again I tryed contact via telnet using the specified port on the pop server in use and get no problem, I only get this problems with Sugar.

All the actions reported on this thread were executed with no problem at all in the system. The problem seems to persist only on SugarCRM. Any help?

OS : Fedora Core 8
Sugar Suite Version : 5.0.0e
Webserver : 2.2.8
PHP : 5.2.6
MySQL : 5.0.45

Hi again...

Found the solution for both problems in this forum thread :

Still, what does happen is that I started to have some problem with Login/Password invalid for the test Settings in the Inbound Mailboxes. I checked once more and it seems to be an issue of Sugar after some upgrades.

Still, glad I find the solution for this one. And it was a pretty tricky one...
