Problem with Sugar Plug-in for Outlook 4.2

- Sugar Suite version 4.2.1

- no problem to access Sugar from browser

- cannot connect from Outlook 2003 and getting the following error message when clicking the "testing" button:

Test Failed: The Sugar Server specified in Tools->Sugar Options must be running Sugar Suite version 4 2 0 or later.

Any idea? Do I need to download to sugar version 4.2.0 or using a older version of Outlook plug-in?

What version of sugar are you running?

Go to about in SugarCRM in the top right

Outlook plug-in: Free 30-day Trial of Sugar Plug-in for Outlook

Both downloaded and installed yesterday (July 4)

Roger, thanks for your help! After changing the character encoding from utf8 to latin1 in the mysql config, everything is fine now. Thanks again! would definitely recommend sugar to my clients after running the system for a few more days.

look forward to double-byte character support in the future.
