It seems to be a similar problem like mine.
Look at my thread
Unfortunately I've got no answers, no help.
I just want give this topic a little bump as I am having the same issue.
I am running on Apache/2.0.54 (Debian GNU/Linux) PHP/4.3.10-16
The attempted patch/upgrade is the only change I know of.
Cheers and thanks in advance!
Extract the attached zip file, drop it into your sugarcrm root directory, and then hit it with your web browser.
It should run through all your files and update your Entry Point information so that you don't get this error anymore.

I'm Upgrading from 4.0.1 to 4.2.1b using the supplied upgrade scripts through the wizard.
I received the copy error mentioned earlier and the invalid entry point message. I changed the permissions on the file in the copy error message and then received the invalid entry message....now that is all I get.
I used the UpdateSugarEntry.php file and made absolutely no difference.
HELP!!!
Tried again...here is the message
Scanning Files...
Warning: copy(/home/<AccountName>/public_html/SugarSuite-Full-4.0.1/./XTemplate/xtpl.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/<AccountName>/public_html/SugarSuite-Full-4.0.1/modules/Administration/UpgradeWizard_commit.php on line 208
Could not copy file cache/upload/upgrades/temp/TyLWVu/SugarSuite-Upgrade-4.0.1-to-4.2.1b/XTemplate/xtpl.php to /home/<AccountName>/public_html/SugarSuite-Full-4.0.1/./XTemplate/xtpl.php
I updated the permissions on the UpgradeWizard_commit file and the target directory...still nothing
In your case, it seems as though the webserver doesn't have permission to write to the files in your SugarCRM directory. Please ensure that all files are writable and attempt the upgrade again. Hopefully that works out for youOriginally Posted by aviador

Hello sadek,
thanx for the good work. You helped me much.
serioes
Please can you explain how to upgrade and get rid of the "Not A Valid Entry Point" error message on every page?Originally Posted by sadek
1) Extract the zip file I attached in the previous post, leaving you with the file UpdateSugarEntry.phpOriginally Posted by justice
2) Move that file to your SugarCRM root directory (eg /var/www/html/sugarcrm/UpdateSugarEntry.php)
3) Go to http://URL/sugarcrm/UpdateSugarEntry,php
One thing you must check for before executing the script is that you check permissions for the webserver to write to the entire SugarCRM directory and all files / subdirectories. If the webserver can't write to the file, it can't update the entry point mechanism in the file.
Hope that helps,
