Problem while saving notes

My Version: Community edition 4.5.1h
MY OS: Windows XP Professional
Installation: Default

while trying to adda note or attachment from the Projects menu - it does not saves, when i click the Full Form option after clicking on save a blank explorer page is displayed.

can anyone help

If you cannot upload attachements in most cases the directory <sugar-root>/cache/upload is not writable by the apache process. Check owner, group and permissions.

Hello Sudhir,

This may also have something to do with your max_upload_filesize setting in PHP. How big of a file are you trying to upload? Does this happen for all files uploads?

i am not uploading anything. simply typeing something in the notes and trying to save.

sounds like a rights problem.
Do have roles defined? Is there any restriction defined?
