We recently installed SugarCRM 4.5 using the BitRock installation package. Everything seemed to work fine when we tested with about 3 people. When the time came to present this new piece of software to our company, SugarCRM became unusable when more than 4 people were logged in at the same time. The response time per page was about 20 seconds on average when 10 users were logged in at the training session. Trying to query into accounts (approx 4000 accounts) even crashed Apache on occasion.
We are running a dedicated rackmount server with a 3.0 Xeon Processor, 1GB RAM, and Sever 2003 plenty of hard drive room.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why something like this could happen? We have been trying to optimize the .ini files with minimal results.
