    Question Problems accessing system

I was able to successfully install the system using the FastStack package on Ubuntu 10, but for some reason, I am unable to successfully log in anywhere except the localhost address. I can pull up the website and get a login prompt by the network IP address, but it always just comes back and says "You must enter a valid username and password."
What's going on here? I'm trying to set this up as a demo for management and if I can't get this to work, there's no way they're going to sign off on it.

    Thanks!

What is the site_url setting set to in your config.php file?

It's set to "webtest.brc.local" which I have added to the DNS server on our Domain Controller internally. Also, after doing that, I was able to pull up the URL in FireFox on my Windows desktop machine. That's not what the linux box is named, though, as I had not originally set up this box for the purposes of testing SugarCRM. I'd originally planned on having it as an AS/400 terminal and so the machine name didn't matter. Does the machine name need to match what I put in the configs or just be able to resolve the site_url to itself via DNS?

Thumbs up Re: Problems accessing system

Problem solved. I reinstalled with Fedora 12, purposely not selecting Apache, PHP or MySQL and it is working now, since I disabled the firewall.
