Default Problems connecting to exchange 2003

    Hi,

I'm running Sugar CE 5.1 on Windows 2003 with IIS 7 and PHP 5.2

I log in as a user into the system, go to the email module then select "settings" so I can edit a mail account. I've attached a screenshot of the settings I need to put in for my pop3 connection. The problem seems to be that Sugar does not appear to recognize user names ending in .local (.e.g. person@server.local as compared to person@server.net or person@server.com).

I am able to connect to my exchange 2003 via outlook express and telnet with the user name and password that I provided in the screenshot, but Sugar comes back when I perform a test to say that it cannot connect to the <mail server> 110 time out.
If I change the mail server to that of another server and put in a user name for that server that ends in .net with the associated password, the test completes successfully and I can save.

Does a file need to be modified to accept "user names" with extensions with .local for instance?

Out of curiosity, can I create multile email settings per user so a person can send a message that appears to come from one address, then when they create a new message, they can drop the "From" dropdown list and select a different email address ?
