    Unhappy Problems with Email Campaign

    I'm trying to send an email campaign and I can't get the emails to actually send. No matter what I do they just remain in the message queue. I tested the email settings I'm using on the admin page and they are working fine so I know that isn't the problem. Any suggestions?? I have my mass emailer scheduled to send emails every hour. I don't know if changing that messed things up for some reason? This was all working fine in the last version of sugar...its only when I updated to 5.0 that I haven't been able to get my emails to send.

    I am having similar issues, emails are either stuck in the queue or they are being suppressed by domain. The target list contains my own email addresses as I'm trying to configure and test the system. Gmail and hotmail accounts keep getting suppressed and my other accounts are just stuck in the queue. Even if you go manually to send emails they do not get sent. I am not been about to find a solution and have searched the forum for an answer but have not found one. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Put me on the list of folks having trouble with campaigns and sending email. I did follow the suggestion above about going to the queue management and telling it to send my email. It appears obvious to me that either cron isn't doing the send or that the send is somehow failing. I'm not good enough with linux/trixbox/sugarCRM to determine the problem. I have added the suggested line to crontab. But like most of this environment, I never know where log files are etc. It's lucky that I enjoy problem solving.

    I had some issues with the cron the way it is written there. So I changed it to be called as a http URL rather than run by php. This made sure that the apache user runs it and the permissions are utilized as is. I can throw more light if anyone wishes to...

    But my problem remains that the campaign email starts sending about a 100 or so and doesn't process it no matter what I do at the Queue monitor.

    I also have the suppressed by issue and I don't understand what it is.

    Please do put me on the list where there is an answer!
