    Unhappy Problems Managing Users

    Good Afternoon

Recently i installes the latest version of a solution named Trixbox (1.1). This software suite contains asterisk PBX software and SugarCRM version 4.2d. The operating system running in the machine is CentOS version 4.3. All the installation runs very well and i installed the php-imap module and all the necesary stuff.

The problem occured when i tried to modify or create a new user. When i chose one of this options, the screens turn completely blank and nothing happens. Up to now this is the only module with problem. Any idea or similar situation to anybody.

    Thanks in advance

    Jose Pabón from Puerto Rico.

    Angry Re: Problems Managing Users

I am having the same problem. When I try clicking on "My Account" or in Admin modifying a current user OR trying add a new user, the screen goes blank in Mozilla and "Page Not Found" in IE. This is happening on 2 installs of Sugar.

WHAT IS GOING ON?!? There are no error messages or nothing.

    Anyone else with this issue???

    Thanks
    Podilarius.

Running trixbox-update.sh update 2 times should upgrade php to fix this issue for you.

The new 1.1.1 update is available just type “trixbox-update.sh update” from the command line. This update adds all of the 1.1 functionality and also adds PHP 4.3.11 We were having a lot of problems with SugarCRM because the version of PHP that comes with CentOS is not supported by Sugar

This sounds like a seg fault. Looking at your installed stack, I see what is likely the problem. You're running PHP 4.3.9.

Our minimum required PHP version for Sugar v3.5.1 forward (including Sugar 4.2.1) is PHP 4.3.10. Previous versions of PHP were causing seg faults in Sugar that look just like the problem you're experiencing.

Check out the platform support matrix here to see the versions of PHP we run on.

I strongly suggest running the latest PHP 4.4 or latest PHP 5.1. PHP 4.3 is really old and not being maintained much anymore.

Thanks everybody for your answers. Just to notify that we follow the instructions provided of upgrading the version of trixbox to the latest 1.1.1 and the problem was solved. Just one observation to my friends. If you tried to upgrade this version of SugarCRM 4.2.0d to the latest release of sugar using the upgrade interface in SugarCRM It's doing fine with the exeption that the module to configure asterisk integration of sugar disappear in the new release.

    Thanks Again

I upgraded to php version 4.4.2 and it is working for me ... now just to get RedHat to update the defalt php version they are pushing out with RHEL 4 update 3.

I would imagine that CEntOS 4.3 would be the same way.

    Thanks,
