Problems with module loader (..extraction does not exist..)

Hi, I have read all the previous posts trying to find the answer to my problem, included:

And I still have the problem with the module loader on a Version 5.1.0a (Build 4837) when I tried to load any module, patch or language package:

Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Permission denied in /home/impactac/public_html/crm/include/utils/sugar_file_utils.php on line 194
Specified directory '' for zip file '/home/impactac/public_html/crm/cache/upload/SugarCE-Patch-5.1.0a.zip' extraction does not exist.

I did a clean installation but I have still the problem and Im getting mad with this. It only happend on my shared server (SiteGround - Linux Based Server) because I use the same installation package on a virtual machine with Windows XP and XAMP (Apache + PHP + MySQL). Due this I was thinking it was a permission problem but the support area of Siteground helped me and check all the folders, change between 777 and 755 config but the problem persist.

Even when I asked for a script installation to the support area, the Siteground´s guys install a 5.1.0.a version and guest what: THE SAME PROBLEM!!...And finally they said that it was a Sugar problem.

I use SugarCRM as a solution for my clients, so I need to have this working, and for this reason I roll back to a previous version and then tried to make the upgrade (tha mayor reason to want the newest version is te module builder features).

With Versión 5.0.0h (Build 3409) running on Siteground the module loader works, but iwhen I tried to use the upgrade wizard Im get the following error:
Query Failed:SELECT id FROM upgrade_history ORDER BY date_entered desc::MySQL error 2006:

So at the end, I cant use the last version beacuse the module loader does not work, and I cant upgrade the 5.0 because the upgrade wizard is broken.

Help me please..help us, is unbelievable that anybody can get a solution for this critical error

I have the same problem with the module loader. When I press 'upload' I get the error:

Specified directory '' for zip file 'cache/upload/whosonline11-351.zip' extraction does not exist.

When I look in cache/upload the zip file is there so clearly uploaded ok.

I am using Version 5.2.0c, clean install no upgrades.

Does anyone have a solution to this? There seems to be quite a few posts from the last couple of years about this but no concrete solution.

Or can anyone give me advice on how to manually install modules?
