Problems with Quotes / Opensales

Hello !

First of all a thanx for a good forum , which helped me , a newbie to SugarCRM and Opensales a lot of the way to get a stable, running installation !

But i have come on to two problems:

1) The qoutename ( Quotereference) is changed , when i edit the qoute.
That means , when i create a qoute, it is named 2008-1.
When i edit the qoute later, it is for eks. named 2008-9


2) When i create a qoute from the SubcontractDetailview, and save it, it is not filling out the subcontract_id. Hence i do not get the quote listed i the detailview, since there is no reference. When i find the id of the subcintract and manually enter it into the qoutes table to the referencing qoute, it works fine, and the qoute gets listed in the subpanel. But i can't get on using way of solving the problem

For both of the problems :
I tried to reinstall both sugarcrm and opensales
Im using :
Sugarcrm 4.5.1.h
Opensales Version 1.0.0 Beta 2 ( i couldn't find any later revision ? )
Latest PHP version 5
MySQL latest version
All running on a Clark Connect linux box .

Please point me in the right direction!

Did you ever get the resloved? I'm seeing something similar when adding tasks to a quote. When viewing the quote, the associated tasks are listed properly, but when viewing a task the parent "Quote" is blank and will not retain a value even when manually set.

Nope ,sorry. i havn't been able to resolve it. I'm waiting for 5.0 release but unfortunatly, i don't have any indication of when its coming..

Use the latest 4.5.1 release as there is a number of problems still be worked out with 5.0. Once you have installed all modules from opensales, rebuild database and repair relationships.

This will address any issues with the contract relationships, hope that helps!

Thanx , but i went to 5.0a for a getting some other mail functions and really don't won't to get back to 4.5.1 ...
Do you have any timeschdule for a 5.0a version of opensales ?
