    Default Problems sending email since 4.5.1 upgrade

    Since upgrading, I get the following error when sending emails.

    In short, it thinks the text is too long for the email.description field. If I send an HTML only version by eleting the text only component of the email and resend then it is fine.

    I have checked the table and description is LONGTEXT and the problem only occurs with a moderately long email and I have run the query directly in MySQL and it does not complain.

    Where could the restriction on the description field come from?

    any news on this problem? I seem to be getting the same error as above when i check my email in sugar 4.5.1e

    Norge Offshorer ikke nok

    Dette mener Fredrik Syvertsen i IKT Norge.

    Norsk it-næring er senest ut med å skaffe seg avtaler med underleverandårer fra lavkostland. Dette styrker ikke vør konkurranseposisjon, sier Syvertsen.

    Han forsetter- Offshoring er ikke en stor fare, heller tvert imot. Vi vil ikke miste arbeidsplassene \nvåre til India, men vi vil miste dem til konkurrenter i naboland som er flinkere til offshoring enn vi, mener Syvertsen. Han peker på land som Sverige og Danmark, som i større grad har brukt internasjonaliseringen til å få konkurransefortrinn.

    Industry knowledge will be priority for IT staff in 2008

    Society for Information Management study finds that about one-third of IT staff positions will be outsourced within three years.

    Understanding business domains, industry knowledge, and client-facing skills will be more critical for in-house IT staff over the next three years, while the importance of programming, operations, and help-desk skills will decline as such jobs are increasingly outsourced, according to preliminary findings of a survey of senior IT and human-resources\nexecutives by the Society for Information Management.

    Generally, programming, operations, desktop and help desk, and mainframe and legacy-system management skills will be considered less critical in-house capabilities in 2008, according to the study. But specialized skills still considered critical and likely to remain in-house include expertise in Web-based Java and .Net, enterprise-resource-planning reporting, integration, wireless, imaging and sound, and security auditing.

    Hi, the data first, now the explanation.

    I'm trying to create a newsletter campaign, and used an old email template for testing.

    The error occures when I'm sending the test mail.

    the description_html coloum is of type LONGTEXT, whcih to my knowledge has a max size or 2^32, and it is no way that I exide this size.

    hope some one can solve this :-
