Problems with sequence of Tabs

I was able to hide the (main) tabs I do not want to show and initially was able to reordered the remaining ones I want visible.
Now I want to put them in a different order and it is not working.

In the list of tabs to show they are:
Opportunity
Project
Client
Company Name

but on the actual tab listing they show up as:
Client
Opportunity
Project
Company Name

Any ideas on how to do (fix) this?

is the user settings over-riding the main settings? or vice versus?

I am new to SugarCRM, how can I check that?

Well, under admin you can set the order of the tabs. You can then enable users to adjust their own tabs if you want or not.

I logged in as Admin, removed some tabs and reordered remaining tabs, but they are not showing up in the order listed (as in my first post).

In case anyone is experiencing same problem and/or is interested, I logged in as a user and the Tabs do show in the correct sequence that I've entered them as Admin. The tabs are still out of order when I log in as Admin.

So the users will see them in the right order.
