Default Problems with setting up roles for Customers

    Sugar Version: 4.2.0
    Sugar Edition: SugarSuite
    Category: Accounts
    PHP Version: 5.1.2
    Database: MySQL 4.0.25

    Steps to reproduce
    1. Clicked on the "Role Management" link in the Administration: Home screen.
    2. Clicked on "Customer Role" and the 'Edit' button
    3. Changed the "List" and "View" of "Cases" to "Owner"

    Issue encountered:
I have created 10 Accounts in the system and each customer can only view their own cases and not from other accounts. But only one account able to do that, while the other accounts can view all cases. How can this be? I need help on this urgently.

    Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Problems with setting up roles for Customers

    I've setup 4 companies into SugarCRM, namely company A, B, C and D.
I've also created 4 users namely A, B, C, and D. I've put all A,B,C and D under the role of Customers and i've set the role to be able to view only the cases for their company.

This restriction only works in Company A, where user A logs in and he's only able to see cases for his company. But when i tried logging in as user B,C and D. I am able to view all cases from other companies.

I've set the roles from the Customer as follows:

    Cases: Enabled | None | None | None | None | All | Owner |

    What's wrong with this setting?
