1. Out of 43,761 records in our emails table:
1,793 records from_addr and from_name are NULL
7 records where to_addrs is NULL
We do not email from Sugar, all of these emails were archived with the plugin. This seems to have spanned multiple versions of SugarOS as well as corresponding versions of the Outlook plugin. I'm hoping that others could check their databases and let me know if I alone have this problem.
2. This might be because we use Exchange (or it might be an Outlook thing) but I noticed that sometimes in the to_addrs field there are only names listed, no email addresses.
3. I'm sure this is because of Exchange but most of the time emails are archived with the internal Exchange mailbox in the from_addr field
/O=SERVER/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=USER:
I assume that if I want this to be the POP email addresses associated with the user on the Exchange server then I'll have to run a query manually to update those?
4. Is responding to an archived email or maybe syncing an email from Sugar back into Outlook something that will be possible in future versions of Sugar?
Problem one is the most pressing and I'd like to nip it in the bud before it grows completely out of hand. I fear that I'm going to have to go in and look at each of those emails manually to figure out who they were from and to. Once I figure out more about them I'll be submitting bugs on these if that is indeed what they are.
