    Default Problems with User Management

    Perhaps the good people at Sugar will be able to help me with this. I welcome any help at all, however.

    Once I create a user I am unable to login with that user. When I try to login I get an error saying:

    You do not have access to this area. Please contact your site administrator if you believe that you should have access.
    Redirect to Home in 3 seconds


    And when I attempt to change access of users in Role Management Area at the bottom of the screen for a particular role I do not have the cells showing up that denote what user roles can and cannot access

    It says Double click on a cell to change value, but it says NO ACTIONS DEFINED

    I have no idea how to get users to be able to access sugar. I'm desperate here!

    Do you have the tabs/modules enabled for the users?

    Yeah that is the default. All of the Tabs under Display Tabs are selected

    do you have portal user or group user check in the account? this will prevent the user from logging into SugarCRM.

    Nope everythign is uncheck....Administrative Access, Portal User, Group User....

    I am aware that those will restrict user access. Any other suggestions?

    You could edit the lo4php.properties file and enable the debug logging - with no one else using the system, perform the error and trace back through the log (sugarcrm.log) to see if you can deduce what's happening.

    I am having a same issue. The details screen of a custom module comes up when we login as admin, but not for regular user.

    I have enabled the debug level, I see a bunch of select stmts, but don't see any ACL related errors. Appreciate any help on this
