Products showing in create opportunity view

Hello

Im moving from community 6.0 to corporate 6.3. One of the very useful features is the product module.

However I seem to only be able to add products to quotes.

I need to be able to have the products IN the create opportunity view. Is this possible? Have I miss something very obvious?

The standard sugar behavior is to allow products just be added to quotes.
And then the quotes is added to opportunities, there is no direct relationship between opportunities x products.
Whether it is desired, probably is needed to perform a customization.
