Project Subpanels have disappeared

One of my users complained a few minutes ago that the Project subpanels have disappeared. Apparently she last used the Projects module yesterday and they were in existence then. Today they are simply not there. No one has done any updates to the system over night.

If I use the Studio I can see the subpanels in there. Re-deploying them makes no difference.

The data is still there and the relationships should still be there as if I go into a Contact I can see the correct Project listed as a subpanel under their information.

All other modules subpanels are available.

SugarCRM version is Version 5.1.0 (Build 4732) running under MySQL 5.0.45 and Apache 2.2.4. PHP 5.2.6. SugarCRM was updated to this version 5 days ago.

It's disappeared for all users.

I have them back again.

I downloaded the full version zip file, backed up the database and backed up the files. I then unzipped the full version into the sugarCRM directory and copied the original config files into it.

A check showed the Projects subpanels were still missing.

I then went into Admin -> Repair and ran 'Repair Database'. Once this was completed the Project subpanels were restored.

Does anyone have any idea what would have happened or why this process fixed the problem?

Hi, I am having the same trouble apparently after upgrading to 5.1 Can you give a little more specific steps that you did to fix this? I am computer adept, but a little new to Sugar and concerned of messing up my production system. I have never had to restore from a backup before.

In admin I can see project subpanels under users they cannot see subpanels.
we upgraded from 5.0 to 5.1a

I did some more checking and 5.1 appears to work but 5.1a has the disappearing subpanel for projects
