Cool Querying custom fields via SQL

I've learned that the custom fields definitions are stored in the fields_meta_data table. I have many customized fields within the Leads module and probably won't be duplicating the custom field names in the Contacts module since I realistically should be able to generate a report from the Leads & Contacts since the contact_id links to both Leads & Contacts when a lead is converted to a contact.

Anyways, could someone help out in explaining how the custom fields are laid out other than simply being stored in the fields_meta_data table and how to perform an SQL query to meet search criteria?

    Much appreciated in advance!

Default Re: Querying custom fields via SQL

Nevermind my last post. I went through the CRM database tables and found what I was looking for. There's a contacts_cstm table created with these custom fields. There are also *_cstm tables for the other modules...

    Have a good one.
