Hello!
I figure Sugar CRM handles its database needs internally, i.e., all the data has to be imported into SugarCRM or created within. However, in my company the idea started floating around, to somehow sew SugarCRM onto the existing database, so that all the data (for instance, Customers) would automatically flow to and from that database. That would be IBM DB2 running on a remote z/OS mainframe.
I must say I get goosebumps just at the thought of making this happen, but I was asked to inquire if this is possible. I really, really hope you guys will tell me that it is not.
It isn't possible, right?
Right?
(please?)
