Question about running closed oppertunity report..

Hey, We're using SugarCRM for a non-profit organization where people (in this case accounts) donate to our cause, in any event when an account donates an X amount of money, now using the Dashlets, I wanted to run some kind of a report or be able to get a total sum of all the accounts's donations (opportunities).. How can I do this?

If every account has an X amount of money designated in the opportunities area, how can I view the sum of all the accounts in a dashlet?

I wish Sugar had some form of reports so I can see weekly the total of all the account's money in a simple page/chart..

Any help?

you have a few options:

-you can customize your system to have a field auto calculate a sum of the Amount fields for its related Opportunities that have a status of closed won.

-you can also download a free version of Zucker reports from the Sugar Forge, which will let you set up and save reports (ex: create a report which groups by Accounts and displays a sum of the closed won opps for each account)
