Question on duplicates and importing

Hello all, I just started using Sugar CE about a week ago and have some basic questions.

1. If I import my CSV files from magento, Qb's etc will the system automatically find the duplicates and weed out

or

2. Do I need to remove the duplicate manually and if so how do I remove duplicate contacts, and accounts etc.

You need to remove the duplicates before importing csv file.
