Question on HOW TO

Can anybody help me on setting up Sugar to do this.

I have a software product that has patches, etc...
I want to deliver these patches to my clients based on what product they have.

I was going to try and use Sugar to create a portal, once the user authenticates, he/she will have access to their account information, bugs, tickets, etc and only the software patches that they need.
I don't know if there was a way to do this with sugar to create a link or something to only the products they need...

If anyone can help, that would be great!!!

So I am going to try this.
How do i setup sugar to offer up only the patches of software for that particular client?

That is my biggest concern right now.

I need to be able to select the client, give them only certain software options...
then when they log in, they get those.

I tried installing the framework for this and I get errors galore and never past 21%

You need to identify the user and group apache uses to get started. You can find these informations on httpd.conf.
Then run this command as root:
chown -R <the_user>.<the_group> /path/to/sugar
