    Default Question regarding custom directory and vardefs.ext.php

    In relation to modifying fields and the properties such as a required field for the Leads module. Is there a way other than file system permissions to stop SugarCRM from deleting a custom vardefs.ext.php file such as

    custom/modules/Leads/Ext/Vardefs/vardefs.ext.php

    Sugar seems to delete this file when running Repair database. According to this posting
    http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...Customizations It would be appropriate to make changes here although in the Cache clean of Vardefs the file gets deleted.
