Question regarding relationships

I'm trying to wrap my head around the relationships for some custom modules. If anyone has thoughts on this, I'd appreciate it.

I'm customizing for real estate - golf course sales to be exact. I have created a custom module called 'Courses' which contains all of the information specific to a golf course. I want to make sure I get the relationships right between this new module and the existing Contacts and Accounts. Here's the issue:

A golf course may be owned by an Account, a Contact, or (rarely) a combination of both. Additionally, a Contact may have associations of various kinds with different golf courses (owner of one course, member of another, investor in a third, etc.).

Does anyone have any thoughts on how the relationships would be set up? I'm not too familiar with CRM yet - but getting there fast! :-)
