"quick create" in email can't parse out email?

Hi

I just found in email module, when you choose 'quick create' - lead/contact, the pop up window gets pre-filled with some info like name, description, etc. according to the email content, however I found the most import field - email address is not pre-filled.
That's quite unbelievable because email is such a crucial field for lead's profile, how come that is missed??

Does someone have a work around or there's any bugfix for this bit in future?
