quickcreate Lead form

Hi,

I use some custom fields for my leads, but these fields do not show on the form, when I do Quickcreate from Email.
I checked the form multiple times in Studio (Quickcreate under Leads), it is actually the same as Edit under Leads.
"Edit" shows all custom fields. I also tried changing Quickcreate layout, but it is still the same. I also tried same with the Contact, but Quickcreate for Contacts also does not show new fields or changes.

What is wrong?

Same problem here 6 months later on 5.0. Can't find anything on this anywhere.

Hi,

Since I do not know what you did I can just tell you that it works in my case. I created tons of additional fields in various versions of 4x, converted to 5 and they all show up when I edit the quick create view in studio.
I can just guess that you may have done your customizations outside of studio and that's why they do not show up there.

I'm in exactly the same boat, I've done extensive customizations to adapt SugarCRM open to our business structure, and it's working perfectly. But, for efficiency and accuracy we need 1 additional field in our "quick create"... despite customizing the layout of "QuickCreate" for "Cases" it does not replicate, even after a "Repair" within the "Admin" section.

Have started tracking through the process of where it's pulling that template from for QuickCreate... will post here if I come to any resolve.

Hi all.

Make sure the file quickcreatedefs.php contains the field defs you want to implement.
This file is the first one to be rendered in screen.
If it does not exist then Sugar looks for the editviewdefs.php
