quicksearch not to clear data if no match was found?

Hello, when creating new account name we want to validate with quicksearch if it's already listed. And we have done it.

The only problem is, that if such name is not found, it gets automatically cleared away.

In SugarCRM 4.5 there was variable sqs_must_match = false in quicksearch.js, that allowed not to clear data.

Now in SugarCRM 5.2 file sugar_grp1.js, there is no such variable any more. How can we force quicksearch not to clear data if no match was found?

No, I am talking about sqs.

Are you not reinventing the wheel? ... sugar already checks for duplicate account names on creation of new account ... why do you need to replicate this function?

Our client wants account name validation at input time. Validation after data is saved is not acceptable.
