    Question Reassigning Account Records

We are having an issue in that if the account say "ABC Company" is reassigned from one user to a different user, It does not reassign all the related contacts, leads, activities, etc. Is there an automated way of doing this? I was hoping that the Account is "Parent" all related are child, and permissions would follow.

    FYI,

The way we have users set up is everyone can see accounts "Global" however the details such as contacts activities etc are set to the persons private team.

Suggestions, comments? We are on SugarOnDemand Pro.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Default Re: Reassigning Account Records

    It works as designed.
Normally if you want to reassign an account it is not explicitely whished that all underlying contacts should be reassigned too.

    e.g.
    account xxx-company owned by salesman1
contact mr. yyy owned by salesman1
contact ms. zzz owned by CEO

if you reassign xxx-company to salesman2, do you really want to reassign ms. zzz to him too?
