Record Edit button disappeared

I'm using CE 5.0.0d version
I cannot see the edit button on the right side of the listview records
How can I let it appear again ??

can u just check and let me know whether the logged in user has rights to edit the records?

now it's OK
I found out that if you set in a role for a module list=owner detail=owner and also edit=owner the user cannot see edit button while if I set edit=all he can see
Is this expected ?
