I downloaded the community edition last week (I had used Sugar extensively before, but had somebody else who was administrating it for me) and entered a number of leads, uploaded my logo, set up tasks, etc. I dropped the link into my quick access bar in Firefox so I could simply click on it in future. I had changed the system name from "127.0.0.1" to "sugarIES" so sugarIES would display on the browser tab.
Then I upgraded to Snow Leopard on the weekend and now the link I had saved says it cannot connect to the "server".
I put allot of work into setting up my version of sugar and don't want to lose the data. I have tried all kinds of things to try and recover the original install, but can't. I even reinstalled sugar (after changing the install directory of the first install). The second install worked, but is a new blank version. How do I get all of my modifications and data back?
