    Default recovering from unistall

I tried installing a second copy (in a different directory) of a localhost copy of Sugar. Because I can't access the original I uninstalled this second copy but now I can't reload the original. The data is there but I need to jump hoops to get it running again. Is there a way of restoring my original installation easily? I am using "community" and running on win XP.

Why can't you access the original installation?

The environment is gone. I need to manually start everything to be able to log back in. When I go to the link to restart it I get an "unable to Connect" message. But when I restart things the data and application is as it was.
