Let me preface this by saying that I'm on the business side of our operation and am trying not to have to customize code - I'm fine using Admin tools such as Studio/Module Builder.
I've created custom modules for a secondary type of relationship that I want to keep separate from our revenue generating Clients.
I am now trying to figure out the best way to create an activity log that tracks details of meetings, phone calls, and e-mail exchanges. It seems that I can't do this without scheduling a call or meeting in the standard activities menu. I am considering modifying the Notes module by adding some fields, but I am running into trouble relating information to the custom module.
Here's what I would like to do:
1)Relate a Note to the custom module I built for these other relationships (call it "A")
2) Be able to select multiple contacts as participants. These would be from another module "B" that I set up to list contacts related to module "A"
3) Be able to select multiple employees from my business as participants.
Is there anyway I can achieve this through Studio or Module Builder, and not have to customize code?
