    Default Relate Calls to several records?

    Relevant info:

    Sugar 6.1
    Sugar Professional (On Demand)
    I'm using Windows as an end user.

    I noticed that a Call has a "Related To" field which produces a dropdown list to select the record to which it should relate (i.e., an Opportunity). Is there a way to have more than one of this fields so I can relate the Call to, for example, an Opportunity as well as a Contact (instead of manually including the contact person as an Invitee)?

    You can already do that by going to the contact in question and scheduling the activity within the Activities subpanel of said contact. You can simultaneously then define the Related To portion to link it to the opportunity.

    To answer the broader question, were you to need to establish that type of link, you would do it by means of a custom relationship between the modules in question, via Studio.

    Agreed, but currently I have a workflow set up to create a Call with a specified Subject, Duration, Description, etc. and of course it will be tied to the related target module of that WF definition. However, I would like to set the field of another related module that isn't the target module.

    For example, my WF targets an Opportunity so that when a Sales Stage hits a certain point, it will automatically create a Call with a specified Subject, Team, etc. Naturally, it also becomes related to that Opportunity. However, I'd like to relate it to a relevant Contact as well.
