Relate imported e-mail to custom module record?

I have created a custom module based on the 'Person' template called 'Models'. I would like to be able to configure relationships from this module such that I can see a sub-panel which will include related e-mails I have imported. I do not see an e-mail module on the relate tab in Module Builder in order to setup this relationship.

At the moment when I open the e-mail and click 'Import to Sugar', the Import settings dialog does not list my custom module in the drop-down. How would I go about getting a relationship in place to allow this to happen?

This is a very important part of my project so I would really appreciate any advice offered.

Has no one anything to offer on this one - I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer.

All I need is for my custom module module to show up in the e-mail import module list - so that I can relate emails to a record in my custom module.

I found this old forum post which suggests creating a relationship between the custom module and the 'Activities' module, to relate the custom module with e-mails.

I tried this and have got part of the way towards what I want. The problem is that the only relationships option I get when doing this is the one-many option and I really need this to be a many-many as I want to be able to relate an e-mail with potentially many different records in my custom module, so would expect to see a sub-panel under the e-mail for my custom module, showing the related records. Is this possible through coding?
